**NEW FOR 2022** Tamara Landscape Partnership Scheme
Over 250 volunteers are sought by the Tamara Landscape Partnership Scheme, which is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, to support a host of innovative community events and create a brighter future for the Tamar Valley and its communities.
Help to look after the rivers in the Tamar Valley, their habitats and wildlife and our water resource by monitoring the river for a variety of reasons such as problem plants to pollution. Full training will be given through the Westcountry Rivers Trust.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with the running of a new and varied events programme. Events will range from supporting existing events, new large scale festivals and BioBlitz’s, nature themed ID sessions, bat walks, film nights, winter talks, yoga sessions and more. Please email Sammy Fraser for further details and to register your interest, or call 07522 709428.

Tamar Valley Centre reception
During normal times, we are always glad of people who can provide a warm welcome and point visitors in the right direction when looking for things to do in the Tamar Valley. If you are able to spare a few hours on the reception desk at the Tamar Valley Centre when things return to normal, we’d love to hear from you.
Walking for Health Walk Leaders
The Tamar Valley AONB team is always looking for volunteers to lead walks and support walkers to help them stay motivated. Anyone can join the group and we will be encouraging people to just come along. It will be a chance to make new friends and explore your local area, with no specialist equipment required.
The Tamar Valley Centre regularly hosts exhibitions for local artists, and with demand growing we are looking for volunteers to help us with setting up the space and moving the panels around. We would like volunteers to come in the day before an exhibition is due to be start and spend a morning/day helping to set up everything that may be needed.
