The winter issue of The Valley – newsletter of the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – is out now.

Keep updated with all the latest news, activities and events taking place to help keep the landscape of our treasured area special, and if you’d like to get involved, there are plenty of opportunities;

  • Become a volunteer Trail Warden
  • Take part in the Ancient Tree Hunt
  • Get your seeds ready for the Seed Saving & Exchange
  • Find out how you can nominate your favourite charity for next year’s Discovery Trail Challenge

Pick up your free copy from the Tamar Valley Centre, Drakewalls, near Gunnislake and add to your pile of Christmas reads – great for those rare 5 minutes of quiet time! By the end of the week, The Valley will be available for you to collect from a number of public outlets throughout the Valley.

The Valley is also available to view on our website – www.tamarvalley.org.uk

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this issue. If you have a story or event that you would like to be considered for the spring/summer newsletter, please contact Charlotte Dancer, Information & Communications Officer, cdancer@tamarvalley.org.uk, 01822 835030 (Tues/Wed). We are also looking at advertising opportunities within the next newsletter – please get in touch if you are interested.
