A wide range of Tamar Valley crafts and foods will be on offer including Christmas decorations and wreaths, Rob Fierick ceramics, MyBeadyEye jewellery, Kit Hill alpacas, Tamar Grow Local and many more makers and producers from the area.

Organiser Rachael Forster said: “The Tamar Valley has such a lot of amazing artists and makers so it will be lovely to bring them together for a Christmas Market in the villages.”

Harrowbarrow and Metherell’s community orchard is located opposite St.Dominick Park is already in development with the first traditional Tamar Valley varieties of apple trees planted. The orchard also houses bees and for a few months of the year, the village’s’ ‘Pig Society’ – a group of pigs raised for pork and cared for by a group of villagers. Eventually the orchard will be a beautiful community space for everyone to enjoy with a range of events taking place throughout the year to encourage learning about the Tamar Valley’s growing heritage as well as practical skills such as bee keeping, hedge laying and orchard management.

The Harrowbarrow and Metherell Christmas Market will be open from 11am until 4pm on Sunday 13th December and will be held at the village hall.
