IMG_0629With just 2 weeks to go until this year’s Tamar Trail Festival, be sure to book your place now as spaces are filling up fast!

Join the Tamar Valley AONB team during May half-term week (26th May – 1st June) and choose from 25 events and activities for you to enjoy throughout the Valley.

–       Mining historian, Rick Stewart, leads a walk on the Tuesday to explore the nationally important Water Power Systems around Morwellham Quay.

–       An Orchard Trail Ramble takes place at Morwellham on the Thursday, with Phil Hurley. Please book your place by 20th May for both Morwellham events.

–       Join Richard Hibbert on the Tamar Trails on Thursday afternoon for Mysterious Mammals – enjoy shelter building, bug hunting, animal tracking, bird calling and much more.

–       Discover what it was like to be a miner in the Tamar Valley on Friday. On our Mini Miners’ Adventure collect woodland treasures to make your very own mini miner, complete with woodland hut, for you to take home.
