Launching their new website www.welovethetamarvalley.co.uk as the spring buds unfurl, the Tamar Valley Tourism Association anticipates another successful season.

This new website is the essential, one-stop resource on what to do and see, where to go and eat, and where to stay, conveniently covering both Devon and Cornish sides of the Tamar Valley.

Whether you are a visitor or resident, www.welovethetamarvalley.co.uk links you to the best local restaurants, pubs, attractions, activities, houses and gardens, and gives lots of ideas to help you make the very most of your precious time in the Tamar Valley.

There is a constantly updated What’s On section, showing current events near you, plus social media facility via Tweets and Facebook.

If you’re a small business, there is a link to the New Members section where you can read about the benefits of joining TAVATA, and how to get yourself on to their website and leaflets. Also to take advantage of their marketing and PR programme, and regular networking events.

Go to www.welovethetamarvalley.co.uk when planning your day. Whatever you want to do, from birdwatching, fishing or canoeing, taking the children to see animals, or castles, or getting to grips with tree-top adventures, mountain biking or extreme sports, you can choose from a wide selection of relevant local activities and venues. Then you can select where to relax and eat nearby.

Use the new website to help explore the unique World Heritage Site locations, to visit glorious gardens and historic houses, to walk the expansive Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, and to enjoy the unspoilt countryside and lovely Tamar and Lynher rivers, with their intriguing myths and legends.

If you’re planning a holiday in the Tamar Valley, you will find a wide selection of quality accommodation, from B&Bs, to holiday cottages, to country house hotels, to unusual, special places like yurts and railway carriages. Whether a single traveler or extensive family, with or without four-footed friends, looking for somewhere hidden in a forest or secluded creek, in a village, or on a working farm, you’ll find venues that will tick your boxes. There really is something for everyone.

Made to showcase the beauty and bounty, of probably the UK’s best-kept secret holiday destination, www.welovethetamarvalley.co.uk will help you find things you’ll love, to make the best of your stay, or life, here. Enjoy!
