Help our Hedgehogs

As winter is nearly here, hedgehogs will be starting to think about hibernation when the temperature in the immediate surroundings becomes and remains relatively low, which in Britain is usually November, December or even January.

We know that this time of year can be difficult for hedgehogs as they need to lay down enough fat to see them through hibernation. The British Hedgehog Preservation Society has provided lots of useful information and is there to help if you suspect a hedgehog may be in trouble.

They have made this lovely video which shows us what we can do to turn our own back gardens into hedgehog havens.
