£2Rick Stewart, author of several books and renowned for his mining knowledge, will show us this 19th century Copper Mine.
Notes: please wear sensible shoes/boots, the walk is about 1.5-2 miles. All welcome.
Cost: members £1, visitors £2
Meet: the Ford at New Mills. Drive down the hill at Luckett and after you pass the ‘Unsuitable for heavy vehicles’ sign turn left and eventually you will reach the Ford.
