Spirit of Mystery, courtesy of Mr Chris Pollard

25 May, 2017 @ 6:00 am - 8:00 pm

A fairly informal chance to see the ‘Spirit of Mystery’ which was built for Pete Goss MBE in 2008 and is a near replica of ‘The Mystery’, a Cornish Lugger, which was sailed from Newlyn to Melbourne in 1854/1855 by Cornishmen who wanted to get to Australia. You will need to be reasonably agile to board the boat.

Meet at 6pm at Calstock boatyard. Be prepared to take turns to get onto the boat, depending on numbers. Tea/coffee/cake available via honesty box.

Limited parking, flat walk from Calstock quay.
