Rare Tamar Valley River Walk
21 October, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm£3
7 mile walk between Horsebridge and Greystone Bridge, along the banks of the Tamar. It is rare because it only happens when the various landowners grant permission for the walk to take place. This happens one day a year to rate money for a local church.
At the end of the walk there is tea & cake, and a shuttle bus to take people back to their car.
Flat walk, except for hill from car park down to the river, and a slight rise at the end to tea & cakes. Dogs welcome, but please bring lead in case of livestock. May be muddy in places.
The car park at the start of the walk is signposted from both Horsebridge and from Milton Abbot. From the Milton Abbot end, turn along the lane that leads to Endsleigh Hotel. The car park is approx one mile further on.
