Calstock Roman Fort Excavation Open Day

The Understanding Landscapes project are inviting members of the public to visit their archaeological excavations at Calstock Roman fort. In order to manage the open day, visits will be organised as guided tours only.
Tours will depart from the site entrance half-hourly at:
10.30am, 11am, 11.30am, 12 noon, 12.30pm, 1pm, 1.30pm 2pm, 2.30pm and 3pm
A selection of finds will be on displace at the site entrance which you can view before or after your tour. The site entrance is via the gateway next to the barns opposite St Andrew’s Church, Calstock.
We encourage locals to arrive by foot as parking is limited. If driving then you will need to part alongside the road to the church, and in front of it. Please do not block the road.
