Title: Calstock Footpath Society Walk – The View from the Other Side
Location: Meet: Bere Alston Station. Limited parking spaces at Station, otherwise park on road. (Train leaves Gunnislake 10.14, arrives Bere Alston 10.36)(SX 440 674)
Description: Approx. 5 miles, mainly on footpaths and bridleways. May be muddy in places. 1 stile, 1 ascent, with walk leader John Deacon.

The walk will take us into the steep woods overlooking the Tamar, with views of Calstock and the Viaduct, before we join the river embankment running below Ferry Farm. We will then climb to Ward Mine (lunch stop).

The walk continues across fields, passing Braunder, then follows the road until Colin’s Bridge. A footpath across fields will lead us back to Bere Alston Station.

Bring packed lunch and wear suitable clothing and footwear. Sorry, unsuitable for dogs.
