‘Visit, Give, Protect’ is the message from Tamar TLC, as they launch their Visitor Gifting scheme later this month in the Tamar Valley.

The new charitable incorporated organisation – Tamar TLC – was set up last autumn to raise, manage and distribute funds for the benefit of the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, bordering Devon & Cornwall.

Chair of Tamar TLC, Alex Midlen, says, “The Tamar Valley is known for its mining heritage, ancient fields, hedgerows, woodlands and the beautiful River Tamar. To conserve the natural and cultural heritage of the Tamar Valley for us, and future generations, to enjoy costs money and takes time. You can help this vital task by supporting Tamar TLC.”

From 31st May wherever you see the Tamar Tender Loving Care logo you will be able to donate to projects supported by Tamar TLC. Projects planned this year will focus on nature, heritage, trails and education, and will include planting some of the Valley’s delightful heritage daffodil varieties and improving access to the AONB.
