Free advice and support for Tamar Valley food producers and retail outlets is available this month, at a drop-in session being held near Gunnislake.
The event, organised by Tamar Grow Local, Tamar Valley AONB and Cordiale*, will offer advice on creating your own FREE page on Tamar Grow Local’s website, highlight the grants and funding that are available to small businesses and discuss marketing and strengthening links between suppliers and retailers.
Peter Sainsbury, organiser, explains the importance of this event during these difficult economic times, “Producing food locally is always at the top of our agenda, but now more so than ever. Not only do we want to encourage the production of local food, but we want to help at each step along the way, so that consumers know that local food is available, and retailers are aware that they have greater choice locally.”
Please join us at the Local Food Producers & Retail Outlets event, at a time to suit you, between 4:00pm and 8:00pm on Wednesday 10th October, at the Tamar Valley Centre, Drakewalls, near Gunnislake. Presentations and debates will run from 6:00pm onwards. Light refreshments will be available.
*The Cordiale project was selected under the European Cross-border Cooperation Programme INTERREG IV A France (Channel) – England, and co-funded by the ERDF.
