Autumn Tamar Trail Festival 2010
Our third annual Autumn Tamar Trail Festival will be on during half term week between 23rd and 31st October!
Get stuck in to some exciting events showing off what the Tamar Valley has to offer. We have brought together over 40 events this year for people of all ages and abilities spread across the AONB, and even a little bit beyond! Many events are free of charge, some ask a donation or fee. Details of who to contact for each event are in the programme.
CLICK HERE to download the full events programme, or pick up a hard copy, available in the next few weeks at local outlets.
You could be making your very herb basket to take home during our willow workshop, joining Kelly House for a spooky haunted dinner in their Tudor Kitchen, learning how to survive with bushcraft and firecraft skills, hunting for archaeology at Cotehele during the deer park walk, looking for natural medicines and foods in the hedgerow larder event, learning all about apples and cider during the Fruit Focus day, going on a bug hunt, looking for ghouls or making a mini-beast mansion.. and so much more!
Thank you to everyone who has been involved in organising events for this year's Festival! It promises to be an exciting half term for everyone to get involved in, and couldn't happen without all the people working behind the scenes to get it going.
For more information call the AONB office on 01822835030 and have a good look through the programme to find those hidden gems.
