Valley Volunteers – Trails Training – Oak Splitting, step building and a bonfire
February 13 @ 10:30 am - 4:00 pm
Starting at the Trails car park to split and collect some saved timber, we’ll then head over to Okel Tor to finish the timber steps there. Then if time, and the weather, allows there can be a big burn up of the gorse that has been cut recently. This needs burning before nesting season and before it becomes a summer fire hazard! The recent work at Okel Tor mine has successfully revealed a good length of old wall and other works.
Lunch and other refreshments provided. Wear sturdy footwear, gloves and be prepared for the weather on the day. All tools and training provided.
So that we have an idea of numbers attending, please let Dave Readman know if you are coming; 07410 411440, email@example.com
We hope you can make it and look forward to seeing you.
