Craft and Conservation Day

On these Craft and Conservation Days, the morning will be spent carrying out various woodland management tasks such as path maintenance, tree planting and small scale coppicing. Then, after lunch, volunteers will be tooled up and guided by Andy and Jane to complete their own green woodwork projects FOR FREE! This might entail learning how to carve a spoon, make a mallet, turn a dibber or any number of small woodwork or clay projects. Simply book, arrive with a packed lunch, warmly dressed with sturdy footwear and a keenness to get stuck in and learn.
A perfect opportunity to learn a variety of woodland crafts and skills, and meet other interested people.
For adults and young people over 12 years from the local community.
