Tamar Community Trust

The Tamar Community Trust was established in 2009 to work alongside the Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and undertake work that helps protect, conserve and promote the natural landscape and heritage of the Tamar Valley.

It is intended that the Trust will shortly acquire ownership of the Tamar Valley Centre from Cornwall Council and will be contracted by West Devon Borough Council to manage the trails and facilities created by the Tamar Valley Mining Heritage Project.  In addition to this, the Trust is developing projects that will help further its aims through, for example, local volunteering, conservation, land management and local economic initiatives.

The Trust is a charitable company limited by guarantee and is registered with the Charity Commission and Companies House.
